WHAT YOU'LL DO
BCG's eCommerce business is scaling rapidly. And, we're now looking to add a key management role to help accelerate the next level of growth. As a Lead Knowledge Analyst, you will take on team management responsibility and work with BCG Managing Directors and Partners to enable and deliver high-impact analysis and growth strategies.
This role is ideal for an Individual with strong analytical and insight skills. You'll need to demonstrate an entrepreneurial flair, identifying gaps in our analytical toolkit and consulting arsenal. And, you should be highly commercial, building a global network to grow demand for eCommerce offers across BCG's internal teams.
As an eCommerce expert, you will augment consulting teams on casework and proposals. You'll conduct in-depth analyses of client businesses to identify opportunities to Improve conversion, average order value, and lifetime value. And, you'll play a fundamental role In productizing consulting playbooks and analytical methods to enable at scale delivery across BCG.
YOU'RE GOOD AT
Leading a team of eCommerce analysts to optimize onsite experiences (web / mobile)Conducting in-depth data analysis of eCommerce trading and engagement data: traffic, onsite behavior, conversion, average order value, etc.Developing product, user experience and conversion optimization strategiesDeveloping campaigns and promotions to drive digital salesDeveloping eCommerce investment cases and prioritized roadmapsManaging a portfolio of In-flight projects and ensuring on-time, on-budget deliveryPresenting to senior stakeholders on project progress and commercial impactIdentifying new opportunities to improve sales and operational processes to drive growthStandardizing eCommerce & organizational methods, playbooks and tools to enable consistent, at-scale deliveryTraining, coaching, and mentoring junior team members
YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS)
3+ years consulting experience in eCommerce; or 3-6+ years minimum industry experience required. Prior experience in an eCommerce specialist agency or consultancy preferred Expertise in relevant eCommerce topics - for example: Commercial Planning, Product & Price Optimization, Website Analytics, Digital Shelf / PDP / SEO optimization, Online Merchandising, Digital Product, UX/UI, Conversion Rate OptimizationTechnical understanding of relevant tools - for example: Shopify Plus, Adobe Commerce Cloud, Salesforce, Google Analytics, Adobe Experience Manager, Contentful, SiteCore, Faire, Ninjacart, Qualtrics, Medallia, HotJar, SimilarWeb, SEMRush, etcFluency in EnglishBachelor's Degree required (advanced degree preferred)Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills Fluency in English

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Total compensation for this role includes base salary, annual discretionary performance bonus, contributions to BCG's Profit Sharing and Retirement Fund (PSRF), and a market leading benefits package described below.
Some local governments in the United States require job postings to include a reasonable estimate of base compensation. We expect your total annualized compensation to be approximately the following:
* In New York City the base salary is between $124,000- $134,600 (USD); placement within this range will vary based on experience and skill level
* In other locations, competitive pay is commensurate with the role and geography
* Annual discretionary performance bonus between 0-12%
* 5% Profit Sharing Retirement Fund (PSRF) contribution, increasing to 10% after two years of service. Contributions are vested immediately and there is no waiting period
