Job SummaryResponsible for performing Lead Floor Care Specialist duties, minormaintenance, and other miscellaneous duties to ensure that the floors aremaintained in a healthy, safe, and sanitary manner. The majority of thedaily activities will be hands-on working. Successfully obtain an interim andfull required security clearances.

Provide direct floor cleaning and care duties as directed by the Assistant PMor PM.
Prepare, setup and safely execute coordination of floor care activities toensure minimal impact to foot traffic and flow.
Responsible for meeting the floor buffing, strip/wax, restoration andother floor care scheduling requirements set forth by the APM or PM, andactively performing floor care duties directly.
Operate burnishers, scrubbers, polishers, shampooers and other types offloor care machinery as needed to meet the quality expectations and standards.
Support and perform minor upkeep and maintenance of all floor care equipment.
Additional Responsibilities
Coordinate work schedules to ensure timely and effective completion of themaintenance and care of the buildings and offices.
Coordinate workflow charts on projects to meet short and long-term goals.
Responsible for the security of designated locations.
Open, close, lock, and unlock facilities as needed.
Keep records of work completed.
Perform other responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications: Education, Experience, and Certification(s)
High school diploma or General Educational Development (GED) preferred.
At least one (1) year janitorial experience required.
At least one (1) year of floor care experience required.
Must be able to pass and maintain a DoD Security Clearance required.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Knowledge of standard cleaning procedures, chemicals, products and equipment.
Knowledge of the use of Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS).
Ability to read and understand labels and instructions, particularly on theuse and application of chemicals and products.
Strong commitment to high level of service and quality standards.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to coach, motivate, develop and lead teams.
Ability to plan and organize.
Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
Ability to build rapport and teams to achieve a common purpose.
