DescriptionEssential FunctionsPerforms scheduled and unscheduled electrical maintenance and/or repair to equipment/areas within the control of the craft throughout the facility.Independently handles moderate to complex electrical repairs.Provides training and mentoring as needed.Initiates work orders.Documents all work, closing work orders in the current software.Installs, remodels, or upgrades equipment including, but not limited to, the normal and emergency power distribution systems, motors, security systems, fire alarm systems, beds, the pneumatic tube system, nurse call systems, TV distribution system, and doors.Orders parts as needed.Performs duties as assigned.Shift work may vary based upon hospital demands and emergencies.Assures that all safety and compliance rules and regulations are adhered to throughout all job activities and compliance periods in the hospital.Required For All JobsPerforms other duties as assigned.Complies with all policies and standards.For specific duties and responsibilities, refer to documentation provided by the department during orientation.Must abide by all requirements to safely and securely maintain Protected Health Information (PHI) for our patients.
