  Position Summary

  CVS Health is seeking a Lead Director of Corporate Communications to help support its CVS Caremark business unit. This position will support the development, execution and continuous measurement of a proactive communications strategy to highlight the value of CVS Health’s Pharmacy Benefits Management (PBM) services to a wide range of audiences. Reporting to the Vice President, Business Communications – CVS Caremark, the ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, an adherence to established processes, open to feedback and continuous improvement, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced, multi-stakeholder environment.

  Your ability to partner with and support senior executives and colleagues across the CVS Health enterprise, including CVS Caremark, to ensure alignment of strategies is critical to success in this position. You will utilize your experience with critical thinking across multiple disciplines to ensure operational oversight of the CVS Caremark communications team, initiate stakeholder response systems, and anticipate emerging issues.

  Primary Responsibilities

  Serve as a trusted, strategic communications advisor to the Vice President, Business Communications for CVS Caremark.

  Serve as the end-to-end facilitator of CVS Caremark’s issues management process, including oversight of timely multi-stakeholder content development.

  Promote continuous review and refinement of organizational processes.

  Proactively pull in insights from broader company communications department (Enterprise Communications) and directly from PBM Communications team members that may benefit and/or amplify PBM reputation communications strategy

  Required Qualifications:

  10+ years' experience in increasingly responsible communications leadership roles, including experience with internal and external communications.

  Excellent written and verbal communications skills, including ability to succinctly but persuasively share information across both internal and external audiences

  Ability to meet deadlines and maintain confidentiality. Strong performance accountability orientation, both in terms of following through on commitments and deadlines

  Strategic and analytical thinker, with superior problem-solving skills and the ability to support tactical execution without losing site of the overall strategy

  Excellent time management, planning and organizational skills. Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities

  Strong collaboration skills with demonstrated ability to work effectively with internal and external parties

  High degree of professionalism and executive presence required to interface with executives on a regular basis and partner with business owners

  Willingness to travel, as needed, in support of business needs

  Preferred Qualifications:

  Experience in PBM and/or healthcare industry communications

  An interest and ability to effectively deliver in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment

  Education:

  Bachelor's Degree in Communications or related fieldPay Range

  The typical pay range for this role is:

  $100,000.00 - $231,500.00

  This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company’s equity award program.
