Battery Lead Design Engineer

　　If you are ready to work with a growing company on exciting projects at an industry leader than Kelly Services has an opportunity for you as a Battery Lead Design Engineer , in Menlo Park, CA. . Our client is looking for a qualified candidate who has experience managing a small team of designers/drafters, while being able to design Lithium Ion Batteries.

　　Roles and Responsibilities:

　　Lead the design functions within a manufacturing setting with designing advanced battery components.

　　Be able to design and also have a understanding of performing testing on designs and being able to modify as needed.

　　Prior management experience is a plus, but not required. This role will have 3-5 designers report into him/her.

　　Requirements and Education:

　　MS Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or another related Engineering Field. (BS Degrees are also acceptable)

　　Experience with Battery Modules and Lithium Ion Batteries.

　　Able to perform procedures according to written guidelines and recognize a deviation from accepted practice.

　　Must have strong communication skills, both written and oral, facilitation, and presentation skills.

　　Able to write complex reports without supervision and develop new procedures where needed.

　　Able to clearly communicate problems and observations with management from other departments.

　　Proficient in creating and utilizing spreadsheets,
