　　KPMG is currently seeking a Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) Engineer to join our Digital Nexus Technology organization. This is a remote work opportunity.

　　Responsibilities:Work closely with internal Virtualization Operations and Engineering teams to gather requirements and build/deploy appropriate tool; provide technical leadership in the development, integration, and testing of the Virtual Desktop Infrastructure, supporting multiple geographic locations, network enclaves, and virtual desktop poolsOffer input on the overall technology plan for the organization, ensuring specific technologies integrate effectively with other aspects of the network security technical infrastructure; collaborate and work effectively with different technology teams and vendors delivering complete networking solutionsDesign, upgrade, test, and modify the VDI environment based on capacity and utilization requirements; troubleshoot and correct detected or reported system and network faults or outages; maintain deep technical and business knowledge of current industry directions and trends; work to deliver technology and products in the roadmap on schedule, and with the highest qualityGive expert advice and guidance to carry out plans and procedures; ensure product development process adherence, performance and budget targets are met; deliver last tier support for operations and support teams, including root cause analysis and preventative analysisBuild configuration management, service provisioning, inventory management, resource management, process automation, visibility, and self-service tools; provide training and guidance to other members of the Virtual Desktop teamQualifications:Minimum five years of ​recent experience in Virtualization design and engineering while managing and supporting large scale projects and automaton; must have experience with Citrix, VDI and Azure AVDBachelor's degree from an accredited college or university is preferred; VMware certifications preferredExperienced in engineering, operations and architecture of VDI technologies and Azure AVD as well as able to recommend ways to enhance productivity and visibility through standard third-party solutionsProgressive roles from Administrator to Senior Engineering Manager; experience with Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops v7.15 and later, Citrix Provisioning Services (PVS; Citrix Cloud Virtual Apps and Desktops (CVAD), Citrix NetScaler / ADC / VPX, Citrix Workspace Environment Management (WEM), Citrix App Layering, Hyper V, VMWare VDI (Microsoft or Citrix NetScaler / ADCs)Working knowledge of Azure AVD; capable of designing, sizing, capacity management while working on POC of New VDI Environments; good understanding of Multi Site Non-Persistent and Persistent VDI Environments; working concept of Load balancer with respect to VDI; excellent trouble shooting skillsExperience managing and administering Windows Server clustering; strong virtualization background with expert level in VMware backup, recovery, and migration design principles and solutions
