　　Lead Carpenters both work as carpenters and coordinate less experiencedworkers. They should have multiple years of field experience, jobsiteleadership experience, be comfortable resolving problems, and be able tomanage a safe jobsite. A lead carpenter should be able to build customhomes and additions/remodeling directly from blue-print designs.

　　Responsibilities/Duties:

　　Complete daily reports of job progress.

　　Conduct job status meetings with crew and homeowners.

　　Ensure a safe jobsite.

　　Assign tasks to on-site field employees

　　Track hours worked for on-site field crew

　　Work along field crew in the following trades:

　　- Trim carpentry

　　- Cabinetry

　　- Vinyl/Laminate flooring

　　- Decks

　　- Discerning siding projects

　　- Window/Door Replacements

　　- Small amounts of drywall/painting/staining/framing for additions andremodels

　　- Punch list items for new construction

　　Manage company vehicles, tools, and resources.

　　Occasional purchase of non-specialty and daily needed materials
