　　The City of Pflugerville is seeking its next Lead Camp Counselor to join our team! The person we seek will believe in and exhibit the City's P.F.I.R.S.T. core values: Positive, Forward-thinking, Integrity, Resilience, Service, and Teamwork.

　　As a Lead Camp Counselor, you will be responsible for the complete daily operations of the camp program including supervising camp participants.

　　Essential duties and responsibilities include:

　　Set up and organize activity areas and supplies during staff training.

　　Delegate staff their responsibilities in activity during staff training.

　　Teach and monitor the proper use of equipment and/or supplies.

　　Conduct initial and end-of-season inventory and store equipment for safety.

　　Check equipment and make repairs or place orders for supplies on an ongoing basis.

　　Conduct daily checks of program area(s) and equipment for safety, cleanliness, and good repair.

　　Write up and report accurate incident and injury records on all participants, as needed.

　　Write down and insure proper communication of all planned activities with the Assistant Camp Director in a timely fashion.

　　Be accountable for group field trip monies and receipts to be returned promptly to the Assistant Camp Director.

　　Guide groups and individual campers in participating successfully in all aspects of camp activities.

　　Keep and report all incident and injury records on all participants, as needed.

　　Assist in the planning and coordination of special events including inter-camp games/activities for camp teams, theme weeks/days, and other well-structured programs.

　　Other related duties as required or assigned, including minor maintenance activities.

　　Qualifications and Skill Requirements:

　　Must be at least 16 years old. Experience planning a broad range of activities including but not limited to sports, games, arts & crafts, music, and field trips.

　　Adult and Child CPR (must be able to obtain before the start of camp); Standard First Aid (must be able to obtain before the start of camp); American Red Cross Basic Water Rescue Course
