　　As a Lead Architect at JPMorgan Chase within the Wholesale Cards Payments , Corporate and Investment Bank , you are an integral part of a team that works to develop high-quality architecture solutions for various software applications on modern cloud-based technologies. As a core technical contributor, you are responsible for conducting critical architecture solutions across multiple technical areas within various business functions in support of project goals.

　　Job responsibilities

　　Leads build and design of new data ecosystem and lead migration strategy from on-prem to cloud i.e. set the compass, chart the journey and lead the voyage.

　　Influences and leads change by conducting POC's and feasibility tests i.e. fail-fast to ensure good long term decisions get made.

　　Collaborates across the firm and vendor partners ecosystem to continually learn, innovate and adopt new data technologies and design philosophies to solve current and upcoming pain points.

　　Must have strong communication and negotiation skills are a must. Ability to navigate the org and good Project management skills are also important in this role.

　　Develops secure and high-quality production code, and reviews and debugs code written by others

　　Identifies opportunities to eliminate or automate remediation of recurring issues to improve overall operational stability of software applications and systems

　　Leads evaluation sessions with external vendors, startups, and internal teams to drive outcomes-oriented probing of architectural designs, technical credentials, and applicability for use within existing systems and information

　　Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

　　Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years applied experience

　　Hands-on practical experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability

　　Advanced in one or more programming language(s)

　　Practical cloud native experience

　　Proficiency in automation and continuous delivery methods

　　Proficient in all aspects of the Software Development Life Cycle

　　Demonstrated proficiency in software applications and technical processes within a technical discipline (e.g., cloud, artificial intelligence, machine learning, mobile, etc.)

　　Ability to evaluate current and emerging technologies to recommend the best solutions for the future state architecture

　　Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

　　In-depth knowledge of the financial services industry and their IT systems

　　Advanced understanding of agile methodologies such as CI/CD, Applicant Resiliency, and Security

　　Advanced knowledge of one or more software, applications, and architecture disciplines
