　　Your Opportunity

　　Stantec's Sacramento-CA, Houston-TX, San Antonio-TX, or Plano-TX office is looking for a professional and self-motivated Landscape Designer/Architect for a full-time position. It is desired for the candidate to be based in one of these offices but remote employment from another Stantec office or work from home in the United States might be considered based on skills and work from home agreement.

　　You will have the opportunity to use your abilities to design different project types and scales across North America. You will engage our talented landscape architecture practice with over 270 professionals and other disciplines across our 28,000 staff network.

　　We are seeking a talented team member to join our growing US West region team with architects, interior designers, engineers (civil, structural, mechanical, and electrical), environmental scientists, botanists, architectural historians, and many other talented professionals.

　　Your Key Responsibilities

　　Presentation graphics, reports and exhibits for conceptual designs, master plans, client meetings, field visits and community workshops.

　　Prepare construction documents including layout plans, planting plans, irrigation plans, grading plans, design details, cost estimates and specifications.

　　Prepare Sketchup models and renderings.

　　Site analysis and design concept development for projects and master plans, including sections, elevations, and perspectives.

　　Production of project renderings and report graphics.

　　Participate in on going skill development activities.

　　Must have a good driving record, and valid driver’s license.

　　Qualifications

　　Your Capabilities and Credentials

　　Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD

　　Strong communication skills: written, graphic, and verbal

　　Required: AutoCAD, LandFX, Sketchup, Photoshop, MS Office

　　Preferred but not required: Lumion, MicroStation InDesign

　　Positive attitude and strong problem-solving skills

　　Work collaboratively in a team environment

　　Education and Experience

　　Bachelors or Master’s degree in Landscape Architecture

　　Minimum 2 years of related work experience

　　Typical office environment working with computers and remaining sedentary for long periods of time. Field work may include exposure to the elements including inclement weather.

　　CA Other Areas $30.19 Per Hour - CA Other Areas $43.80 Per Hour Min/Max Pay Range for postings located in CA (SF Area includes SF, SJS & WLC)The final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. At Stantec certain roles are bonus eligible.
