Job Summary The Taxteam is responsible for the overall corporate tax function for all ofWEC Energy Group\'s entities, including federal and state tax returnpreparation, tax audit administration, tax accounting for SEC filings,estimated tax payments, tax software administration, support forforecasting and rate cases, and overall tax planning for theorganization. This position is responsible for assisting in any area ofthe tax function as needed. The position requires strong analysis,decision making and problem solving skills. An ability to work as partof a team and interact with others is key. Job ResponsibilitiesPreparation of Federal and State Income Tax Returns and supportingcalculations Preparation of the ASC 740 monthly income tax provision forassigned companies, including performing all necessary accountreconciliations Assist in the process of estimating all taxes in supportof the company\'s financial forecast which in turn supports earningsguidance and certain regulatory filings. Perform tax research, asneeded, to ensure compliance is completed accurately and consistentlywith currently enacted tax law Approaches work and assignments with afocus on continuous process improvement Asks questions, seeks knowledgeand demonstrates the desire to learn utility tax accounting Ability towork independently, accurately, and efficiently Assist on variousproject work as needed This is a job family posting where the experienceof the selected candidate will determine the level offered.
