Position Overview

　　Seeking a dynamictechnicianto join our team, with a focus on Laser Capture Microdissection

　　This project will require onsite in Mason OH.

　　Major Responsibilities:

　　Work safely in a lab that requires use to human source material.

　　Performs all tasks and procedures in a regulated environment with minimal supervision.

　　Always communicates effectively in an absolute professional manner with team members and staff.

　　Multi-tasks effectively and performs other essential tasks and responsibilities as assigned.

　　Absolute Requirements:

　　A.S. or B.S. Degree in Biological sciences or related, or 2 years of experience.

　　Able to precisely outline structures on a tablet screen using a stylus pen

　　Able to sit and concentrate for long periods of time (2-3hr intervals)

　　Ability to quickly master user intuitive software applications.

　　Excellent analytical and time management skills for success in a fast-paced environment

　　Role requires the use of human source tissues, must be okay with handling human tissues daily.

　　Must be results-oriented and possess a high degree of accuracy.

　　Must be comfortable working independently.

　　Preferred skills/experience:

　　Experience with Laser Capture Micro-dissection

　　Experience with tissue handling (animal or human)

　　Histological analysis experience: sectioning, chemical staining and immuno-staining

　　Microscopy experience – bright and dark field

　　Experience with both DNA, RNA and protein isolation from tissues

　　Experience with using Image Analysis software (Image J or equivalent).

　　Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

　　Ability to work with a diverse team and possess a positive attitude.
