Purpose StatementTo support the goals and vision of Gemini Incorporated by completing layouts, resolving problems, and providing technical advice and support to a broad base of product types. Embraces change based on customer and business needs.Work with others toward a shared goal, participating actively, sharing responsibility and rewards, and contributing to the capability of the team.Complete layouts in most product lines.Work together and ensure all layout locations are consistent with workflow expectations.Partner with the Training team for onboarding and continued education.Be a resource and submit information for Daily Standup communication.Collaborate with Layout Supervisor concerning touch bases and give input for reviews.Be an intermediary/liaison for internal customers (i.e., production, accounting, leadership, etc.) & external customers to resolve artwork modification limitations, solve problems and clarify requirements.Help coordinate the flow of orders, emails, and requests for processing.Coach and motivate the team in providing daily layout, email, and technical advice.Collaborate with Internal Channel Representative to investigate quality investigations.Motivate the layout team to increase productivity on daily sheets while maintaining an acceptable QL rate.Partner with Technical Field Specialists to and give advice and support to our customers. (i.e., style, size, application, mounting, etc.) and be a product specialist for a broad range of internal and external customers to increase sales and customer satisfaction.Assist Layout, Email, and Request handling in helping maintain the department goals while providing feedback to supervisors.Maintain an exemplary layout/customer service/problem-solving attitude and handle difficult customer situations to our customer's satisfaction.Assist sales by proactively providing alternative product offerings or solutions to external customers as appropriate.Assist Layout, Sales Supervisors & other management with requested duties.All other duties as needed for the benefit of the group or organization.Minimal travel required, which included but not limited to trade shows, visiting customers, and plant visits.Skills and AbilitiesProblem-solving, organizational and communication skills to process a demanding workflow.Must be highly organized with the ability to perform multiple tasks and priorities.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Teamwork, strong collaboration skills.Personal accountability/personal ownership for what happens as a result of your actions.Ability to influence and adapt to continuous improvement driven change.Must have strong computer skills.Good mechanical aptitude and abilities are required.Qualifications - Education & ExperienceBachelor's Degree from a four-year college and a minimum of two years of experience in Graphics Design preferred or equivalent OR a two-year Associates degree / Graphics Arts Diplom
