JOB REQUIREMENTS: Title Laser Operator- Weekends- 3/12\'s Position LaserOperator Description Job Overview: A laser operator will takeresponsibility of producing sheet, plate, and structural parts from avariety of metal materials in a fast paced manufacturing environment.This person will be responsible for machine set ups on a variety oflasers, general periodic maintenance, general raw material staging,basic part inspection and processing, and other operator duties. ROLEAND RESPONSIBILITIES Follow Laser Operator Work Instructions as itdefines the responsibilities of the laser operator in producing aquality part. Ability to operate sheet lifters and forklifts to load andunload material from machines. Maintains safe operations by adhering tosafety procedures and regulations. Maintains equipment by completingpreventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturinginstructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; contacting OperationsManager(s) for repairs Communicates effectively among work shifts byrelaying work load, irregularities, and continuing needs. Work withmaterial handlers to keep material and parts flowing thru the laser areain an effective/safe manner. Take measurements accurately using variousmeasurement tools. Maintaining equipment and supplies. Ability to workOT with little notice when required. Position RequirementsQUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS A technical degree ispreferred but not required High school diploma or equivalent (GED)required A minimum of 3 years\' experience in a manufacturingenvironment is preferred Must be willing to assist in other areas whenneeded Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening, backgroundcheck & a fit for duty physical assessment.
