　　We are looking for an Applications Engineer or Development Engineer or an Engineer who has been NPD focussed with laser experience to support our global technology center in generating our next generation of products. We didn’t stand still during covid, we opened up new markets and applications for our technology which has meant we are on a huge growth trajectory leading to many new roles within our business – this being one of them. The Laser Applications Engineer will work with our business development team to execute customer application trials as they assess laser technology for their own needs. You will be a key part of New Product Introduction, managing the whole product development lifecycle. You will develop machine tools and processes mainly using laser ablation, laser drilling and laser welding. You will be part of a team of eight across the UK and US focused on the improvement and automation of machines as the industry pushes for more advanced manufacturing. You will provide sales support for both machine tool and parts manufacture, including customer visits, customer calls, and demonstration of technology, so the ability to communicate and get along with people is a must.

　　Requirements

　　We are looking for someone with a Bachelor’s Degree (B.S.) in Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics, or similar, and experience with laser processing - ablation, micromachining, welding, cutting, drilling. The applicant must be a US Citizen or Green Card holder and willing to travel (from time to time) within and outside of the United States
