Quality Concrete & Landscape Services LLC seeks 6 full-time Landscaping Workers to landscape or maintain grounds of property using hand or power tools or equipment. Tasks include sod laying, mowing, trimming, planting, watering, fertilizing, digging, raking, sprinkler installation, and installation of mortarless segmental concrete masonry walls. Work will be performed in multiple worksites throughout the counties of Hennepin, Carver, Anoka, Scott, Dakota, and Ramsey. Employer will offer 40 hours of work per week, Monday - Friday, 7:30 AM until 4:00 PM with a half hour break. Overtime available, as applicable (see below). Workers needed to begin work on 04/1/2024 through 11/8/2024. Workers will be paid no less than $19.96 per hour. Overtime is available, as applicable. Overtime hours may vary and will be paid at $29.94 per hour. The employer will use a single workweek as its standard for computing wages due. Workers will be paid on a bi-weekly basis. The employer will make all deductions from the worker s paycheck required by law. If the worker completes 50 percent of the work contract period, the employer will reimburse the worker for transportation and subsistence from the place of recruitment to the place of work. Upon completion of the work contract or where the worker is dismissed earlier, the employer will provide or pay for worker s reasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence back home or to the place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer or where the employer has appropriately reported a worker s voluntary abandonment of employment. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distances involved. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of at least $15.46 p/day during travel to a maximum of $59.00 p/day with receipts. Workers will be reimbursed in the first workweek for all visa, visa processing, border crossing and other related fees, including those mandated by the government (except passport fees and other charges primarily for the benefit of the worker). The employer will provide workers at no charge all tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform the job.
