DEA is currently seeking a Landscape Designer with an environmental emphasis, to join our Water and Environment Business Unit's Environmental Planning and Compliance practice (EP&C) in our Bellevue, WA office. The primary focus will be to prepare landscape plans for stream restoration, fish passage, wetland mitigation, and other more traditional landscape projects. This position will also include fieldwork for vegetation monitoring and environmental compliance site inspections and supporting senior staff with wetland delineations and critical areas surveys.DEA's EP&C practice specializes in natural resources management; local, state, and federal environmental permitting; Clean Water Act (CWA), Corps (404), Endangered Species Act (ESA) and National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) compliance; and local critical areas ordinance. DEA works throughout Washington and the western United States on interesting and challenging projects with public and private clients including local municipalities, counties, ports, and transportation agencies, as well as utilities and renewal energy developers.
