Description:
Award winning Engineering and survey firm urgently hiring 3 surveyor assistants/Instrument Operators. Instrument Operators will be part of a 2 person crew and will reports to Reston office every morning then go out to the project sites in DC/VA with crew. They will be responsible for following safety regulations, daily instrument care, obtain accurate field locations and correct coding for a 'field to finish' mapping product, construction stake outs, clear and concise field notes and recording daily records.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:
-6 months+ of experience in land surveying
-Reliable - needs to be on time to work every shift
-Proven knowledge with the use of Topcon survey equipment and software (GPS/RTK Robotics, Total Stations, Levels, and Data Collectors)
-Ability to operate scanning equipment is a plus
