Description
Signing Bonus paid in installments over the first 12 months.
Job Purpose: Safely and efficiently aid plant operation by moving material, operating and cleaning equipment
Duties and Responsibilities (red bulleted items in duties section are standard for all positions)
Dump route trucks and load trailers
Shovel loose material into vehicles or pit
Operate process equipment as instructed
Clean/wash work area, machines, vehicles and/or equipment
Pressure wash used cooking oil collection containers
Paint used cooking oil collection containers and equipment as necessary
Work around steam
Complete all necessary regulatory paperwork
Travel to customer locations and perform required service
Safely operate industrial truck to assist in loading or moving materials and products
Cross train and become proficient in all aspects of the plant
Provide vacation/sick backup when needed
Interact with others in a professional and ethical manner
Follow department and company procedures
Keep up regular attendance and punctuality; regular attendance and punctuality are essential for the smooth operation of this company
Other duties as assigned
Position Requirements
Qualifications (KSA, professional certifications, education, experience, travel requirements)
Must have a valid driver’s license
Must be able to obtain a “DOT Medical Card”
High School graduate or equivalent
Valid driver license with ability to drive manual vehicle
Less than 5% travel requirement
Physical Demands/Requirements:
Constantly (over 2/3):
Move and transport materials up to 50-100 lbs with or without specialized lifting, moving and rigging equipment
Moves across wet/slippery and uneven surfaces
Must be able to position self to perform duties around industrial equipment and materials that are hot or hazardous chemical materials
Frequently (1/3-2/3):
Exposed to work in outdoor weather conditions
Ascends/descends heights while maintaining balance
Utilizes tools and equipment such as a shovel to move material
Remains in a seated position while using multilimb coordination to operate forklift or other mechanical equipment
Occasionally (under 1/3):
Detect and observe conditions that need to be addressed such as equipment that needs to be painted or materials that need to be moved/removed
Electronically and manually completes logs/reports
Communicates with staff in the process of performing duties
