Summary About the position: This position will be assigned to the Air Force Recreational Area, Fort Tuthill, Flagstaff, AZ. Heavy physical effort is required in frequently lifting and moving objects weighing over 50 pounds, and in using heavy hand tools and operating equipment. Responsibilities Loads, unloads, or relocates heavy or bulky items from boxcars, trucks, and other conveyances; carriers and assembles scaffolding. Shovels and moves snow using hand tools, snow blowers, and small lawn tractor. Uses heavy (not domestic type) power mowers as well as walk-behind mowers & hand-held weed-eaters; adjust blades, and cleans and oils mowers; cuts trees, using ax, chain saw, hedge trimmers, clippers. Paints and stains interior walls, exterior decks, siding. Troubleshoots minor electrical such as checking breakers, changing lightbulbs.
