　　As a Laboratory Technician your main responsibilities are to:

　　Provide technical support in Inorganic Air Lab following established procedures. The analyst is required to:

　　Prepare and analyse ambient filters for gravimetric analysis according to Method IO-3-1.

　　Prepare and analyse stack samples for gravimetric analysis according to EPA M5 & M202.

　　Prepare and analyse dust fall samples for gravimetric analysis according to ASTM D1739.

　　Maintain and verify lab equipment such as balances, ovens, and pipettes on a daily basis.

　　Adhere to WHMIS requirement and observe Bureau Veritas Safety Rules.

　　Review workload summary generated by Bureau Veritas LIMS on a continuously basis.

　　Perform other special/non-routine projects as required.

　　You are the ideal Laboratory Technician, if you have the following:

　　You possess a post-secondary education and/or equivalent related work experience in analytical laboratory.

　　You possess analytical problem solving skills and excellent documentation skills.

　　You have the ability to learn quickly and adapt to changing environments.

　　You are detail-oriented and organized.

　　You have the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

　　You have excellent interpersonal skills.

　　You are dynamic, energetic, motivated, positive outlook, and a "can-do" attitude.

　　You must be able to work afternoon and/or weekend shift.

　　Must be able to work flexible shifts, including afternoon and weekends to meet business requirements
