Job Description

　　We're hiring! Inframark is looking for a Laboratory Technician II in our Mountain House Wastewater Plant. The Laboratory Technician is responsible for performing routine wastewater analysis for process control as directed by the CPO. CWEA Lab Analyst I certificate must be obtained within 12 months of hire date. Candidate must have worked in an Operations lab environment.

　　RESPONSIBILITIES

　　Performs routine wastewater analysis for process control as directed by the Lead Operator such as:

　　Chemical oxygen demand (COD)

　　Analysis of BOD5

　　Suspended and total solids, volatile solids, ammonia

　　Total kjedahl nitrogen (TKN)

　　pH

　　Conductivity

　　Process jar testing

　　The operations of the Atomic Absorption analysis equipment

　　Understands and adheres to all company health and safety procedures as they relate to essential job functions

　　QUALIFICATIONS

　　Knowledge of process control techniques, maintenance procedures and safe practices

　　Previous water or wastewater treatment experience

　　EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

　　High school diploma or equivalent and 6-9 years of formal training and experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
