　　Job Description

　　Sci-Tech part of the Cawood group are looking for a Laboratory Assistant on a full time, permanent basis based at our site in Craven Arms, working day shifts - Tuesday - Saturday.

　　Job Purpose

　　To support the laboratory in the preparation and analysis of samples in accordance with the Quality Management System.

　　Other duties

　　Assist with or perform analysis, using good laboratory practise and aseptic technique

　　Undertake any tasks within the laboratory appropriate to level of training

　　Receive deliveries and organising stock

　　Maintain the working environment in a clean and tidy manner

　　Set up and maintain equipment

　　Ensure samples received are handled in accordance with documented procedures, including attention to temperature control, storage and maintenance of sample integrity

　　Maintain accurate records as detailed in the quality procedures

　　Uphold and maintain client and company confidentiality

　　Key Requirements:

　　Strong organisational skills.

　　High level of attention to detail.

　　Ability to work to strict deadlines and prioritise under pressure.

　　Act with Integrity at all times
