Description:

The laboratory technician will primarily be responsible for practicing wet chemistry testing techniques inside of a laboratory setting while collaborating with other departments such as research development, analytical, and quality.

Laboratory practices will consist of:

Property testing: FTIR, Karl Fischer moisture content, tensile strength testing, and solubility testing.

Analytical instrumentation use of: Gas Chromatography, HPLC, and LCMS.

Equipment calibration

Attending and participating in research development meetings

You will also work closely with a laboratory mentor to successfully complete all project assignments and required testing.

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in chemistry, biochemistry, or chemical engineering

1 year of industry experience working with chemical components

Ability to work in a team environment

Ability to work in a fast paced environment
