　　Title : Lab Specialist, PM (Performance Materials)

　　Location: Pendik/Istanbul

　　QUALIFICATIONS/COMPETENCIES

　　Bachelor’s degree in science/technology, preferably in chemistry or chemical engineering

　　Minimum 2 years of related or project experience.

　　Able to effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders.

　　Contribute creative solutions and foster the spirit of innovation.

　　Fluent in English

　　JOB DESCRIPTION

　　To comply with all legal and internal occupational safety, employee health and environmental protection requirement.

　　To be an example for the employees in the fields of occupational safety, employee health and environmental protection, to make necessary EHS (Environment, Health & Safety) practices and to ensure the sustainability of these issues.

　　Managing the local application and technical laboratory.

　　Taking care of the maintenance and operability of all equipment in the laboratory.

　　To follow and manage defined R&D Projects in Turkiye: Carrying out trials of the projects and project tests and following the required writing processes.

　　Adjusting formulations in cooperation with ETE (European Technical Expert) and conducting application tests according to the selected market and customer needs in close collaboration with local sales.

　　Conducting literature research and proposing new project ideas.

　　Supporting training and launch activities for internal (sales), external customers and distributors: Monitoring and evaluating market trends and customer activities (products/patents/literature) for the individual field, considering customer comments and generating suggestions for new projects/applications/solutions to problems within the framework of a product strategy.

　　At need, conducting field visits to customers in the field of Insulation and Flexible Foam Solutions in close collaboration with local sales.
