  Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Knowledge Management Specialist II to join our team in the Stafford, VA area.

  Responsibilities include but not limited to:

  Train employees on knowledge management methods, processes, and tools (MPT) and drive a culture of knowledge sharing and collaboration within the constraints of security regulations.

  Perform the tasks necessary to design, modify, manage, and implement the MPTs to track, catalog, file, and manage versions of TKAs.

  Apply policies for diverse TKAs such as digitized technical documents, engineering diagrams, model elements, simulation animation files, videos of users' screens during tests, etc.

  Must stay updated on the latest knowledge management trends and technologies and adapt them to meet Maverick Program and mission partner needs.

  Consult with the DE Team, Systems Engineers, and the user community on the development of engineering databases, processes, and tools used on the Maverick Program.

  Consult with Trainers and Subject Matter Experts to fulfill TDL responses and use of Service Design Packages (SDP) to design proposals and implement solutions.

  Education and Experience Qualifications:

  Bachelor’s degree in a Knowledge Management, Management Information Systems (MIS), Computer Science/Engineering, or related Business, Education, or IT discipline

  4 years of experience in developing, implementing, and managing lifecycles for Knowledge Management, Document Management, Content Management, Records Management, Online Library Management, or related fields.

  OR;

  HS and 8 years of experience as detailed above OR;

  Associate’s degree and 6 years of experience as detailed above OR;

  Master’s degree and 2 years of experience as detailed above OR;

  PHD and no experience

  Preferred Qualifications:

  Master’s degree in Library Science or Institute of Certified Records Managers (ICRM), Certified Records Manager; Knowledge Management Institute, Certified Knowledge Specialist (CKS) Certification.Security Clearance Requirements:

  This position requires a current/active U.S. Government Secret clearance.Physical Requirements:

  Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%

  The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management and customers, which may involve delivering presentations.

  Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations

  Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer
