The Defense Group of Leidos has a career opportunity for a Knowledge Management Engineer in Stuttgart, Germany.
POSITION SUMMARY
This position is in support of a Department of Defense (DoD) organization, US EUCOM located OCONUS in Stuttgart, Germany. This position is required to travel OCONUS.
The Knowledge Management Engineer (KME) shall work with EUCOM'S Information Superiority Knowledge Management team in support of the Chief of Staff office in executing process improvement initiatives.
CLEARANCE REQUIREMENT:
Must have an active DoD Top Secret security clearance and be able to obtain and maintain TS/SCI.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develop and maintain SharePoint sites, pages, lists, permission sets, website forms, and out-of-the-box (OOTB) web page customizations supporting customer requirements.Design, build, implement and sustain SharePoint workflows supporting effective business processes and organizational knowledge capture.Define and implement improvement projects in coordination with the Knowledge Management solutions development team.Conduct day-to-day operations and maintenance of all Knowledge Management tools including SharePoint portal sites.Identify opportunities for process improvement, develop Business Case Analyses, and recommend solutions for streamlining business processes through the integration of existing tools and communication streams, the acquisition of new tools, and the development of new processes and solutions.Design, coordinate, and conduct training to drive successful delivery and completion of process mapping and analysis, data collection, process modeling, and the facilitation of effective best practice Knowledge Management techniques throughout the organization.Work with customers to identify authoritative sources of data and to define customer specific goals for data integration and synthesis.Conduct process mapping, data-gathering and analysis activities with EUCOM staff, including conducting interviews, analyzing information exchange requirements and developing process maps. Recommend and execute KM strategies, plans, processes, tools, KM assessment reports, and roadmaps to improve EUCOM's KM practices. Contribute functional expertise to the management of EUCOM deliverables, develop client-ready products, including briefings, reports, and internal communications, as well as leverage industry best practices in knowledge management and business process management.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
BA/BS + 5 years recent specialized experience or AA/AS +9 years recent specialized experience or a major cert + 9 years recent specialized experience or 13 years of recent specialized experience.5+ years of experience in a Business Process Analyst/Engineer or similar type role.5+ years of experience with knowledge management (KM) or business process mapping or reengineering in a military headquarters environment.5+ years of experience working in a 3-4 star level military/joint command or similar type organization.Excellent communication & collaboration skills and able to work in an open office environment.Experience in Microsoft SharePoint 2016, Microsoft SharePoint 2019, SharePoint Online, Nintex Form, Nintex Workflow, SharePoint Designer, Microsoft Office Suite, Visio and PowerPoint is essential.Familiarity with business process engineering methodologies & frameworks (eg. Lean Six Sigma).Must possess IAT Level II certification (Sec+ or higher).Must have a working knowledge of industry standard Knowledge Management (KM) and Business.

Pay Range:
Pay Range $55,250.00 - $99,875.00
