　　Job Summary

　　As a Jr. Sous Chef, you will be responsible for assisting the Executive Chef and/or the Director of Dining Services with the overall success of the food service operation at Amex Lounge in SFO. This is an exciting opportunity for an organized, enthusiastic, and detail-oriented Chef Manager who is constantly seeking a better way to conduct business.

　　Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

　　Plans, directs and coordinates the activities of production employees to prepare and deliver a finished food product to the serving areas in an efficient, timely and proper manner.

　　Oversees kitchen operations while maintaining a safe and sanitary work environment for the staff.

　　Prepares or directs the preparation of meals by corporate programs and guidelines.

　　Performs other duties as assigned.

　　Qualifications:

　　2 years of culinary management experience required

　　Experience in restaurants, hotels, corporate dining, education, military, health care, and/or related food service operations.

　　Catering and/or high-volume batch cooking experience is required.

　　Experience ordering food and supplies is required.

　　Computer skills and knowledge of MS Office products including Excel.

　　ServSafe Certification is preferred.

　　Associate’s degree in Culinary Arts is preferred.
