Intro
This Key Account Manager role is part of an eight person sales team and reports directly into the General Manager of Canada. The Sales team works closely with Operations and Marketing in the management and development of the overall Canadian business. This role is responsible for development and follow through of daily tasks across a broad range of areas (where applicable), including promotional planning, administration, funding management, planograms (POG) planning and ad hoc analysis. This role provides dedicated account support to our new and upcoming customers and is key to helping the LEGO Group reach more children through channels that have an opportunity to grow under more dedicated focus.
Core Responsibilities
Look after the execution of our sales strategy by maintaining our customer relationships through direct interactions with our field customers, distributors on the ground and in close interaction with our instore merchandisers.
Use your advanced market knowledge to independently propose field sales plans
Assess customer needs and suggest appropriate products, services, and/or solutions
Develop and deliver sales bids/proposals/presentations and conduct product demonstrations
Develop & drive sales plans while preparing strategies to protect, grow and diversify the relationship with targeted customers
Expertly navigate difficult negotiations
Manage ad-hoc projects or processes with support from senior colleagues
Do you have what it takes?
5+ years of related experience in consumer packaged goods, leading key accounts with experience in the development and implementation of joint business plans
Demonstrated practical knowledge of digital commerce and market executions
Outstanding eye for business, negotiation skills, team orientation, leadership, strong communication and analytical capabilities
Self-motivated, with an ability to collaborate while enabling your team to thrive
Dedication to collaborate
Sophisticated written and verbal English skills
