Description

　　A leading Personal Injury law firm in Seattle is looking to hire a Legal Assistant to add to their growing office. Candidates must have previous legal internship or law firm experience and have the desire to grow into a Paralegal or Case Manager in the future. Newly renovated offices are located just north of Downtown Seattle and offer a collegial work environment and amazing career growth opportunity!

　　Responsibilities will include:

　　Open claims with insurance carriers

　　Maintain status of various reports requested from third-parties (insurance representatives, police departments, medical providers)

　　Assist with the preparation of demand letters

　　Verify balances with carriers

　　Prepare case documentation to be provided to case managers

　　Assist with the maintenance of case calendar and observe deadlines

　　Assist with other administrative duties as requested

　　Desired Skills

　　Proficiency with computers, telephone lines, and other related office equipment

　　Organizational skills

　　Customer service attitude

　　Ability to handle and keep client information confidential
