To support our financial team, we are seeking a motivated entry level Accountant with expertise in SAP.
Responsibilities: Financial Data Entry and Analysis: Utilize SAP software to accurately enter and manage financial data. Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports. Accounts Payable and Receivable: Process and monitor accounts payable transactions. Assist in managing accounts receivable and collections. Cost Accounting: Collaborate with the cost accounting team to ensure accurate cost allocations. Analyze and report on manufacturing costs. Month-end Close: Support the month-end closing process through reconciliations and journal entries. Verify accuracy of financial records and resolve discrepancies. Compliance and Documentation: Ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures. Maintain organized and well-documented financial records. Communication and Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather relevant financial information. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to address accounting-related queries. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Previous experience or coursework focused on SAP. Strong understanding of accounting principles. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy. Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment. Proficient in Microsoft Excel. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with SAP modules related to manufacturing and finance. Relevant internship or entry-level accounting experience. Knowledge of industry-specific accounting standards.
