　　Our team is looking for a Jr. Systems Administrator to focus on the development and administration of a wide variety of systems and environments in Colorado Springs, CO and around the world. You will be responsible for deploying and configuring software releases as well as being responsible for maintaining these systems, configuring both operating systems and software products, and installing required software patches and security updates for the systems. In addition, you may provide assistance during test and integration events by resolving system problems and providing system maintenance/support. You will have the opportunity to participate in real-world, cutting edge Space Situational Awareness systems which are changing how the Space community is doing business.

　　Candidate must have strong troubleshooting and communication skills, along with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

　　Required Skills:

　　• Bachelor's Degree in a technical discipline and/or 1-2 years of experience in system administration. Additional relevant experience may be accepted in place of a degree.

　　• Ability to support and troubleshoot issues on common Operating Systems (Windows Server/Workstation)

　　• Experience with system build processes and imaging; configuring and deploying systems in a DoD environments

　　• Experience with scripting languages such as Windows Powershell and Unix shell for troubleshooting and automation of routine tasks

　　• Experience maintaining multiple baseline environments and configuration management

　　• Experience with access management and client account technical support (Windows Active Directory, DNS)

　　• Foundational understanding of networking concepts (Firewall, Routers)

　　• Familiar with interpretation and application of Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs)

　　• Familiar with cybersecurity tools e.g. ACAS, HBSS/ESS

　　• High level of self-motivation, ability to define, manage, and prioritize tasks in a team environment

　　• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills, enjoy customer interactions

　　• Ability to multi-task in a dynamic environment with changing priorities

　　• Possess a willingness to take the initiative to learn new tools and concepts quickly

　　• Ability to travel internationally and obtain passport

　　• DoD 8570 Certification (Security+, CCNA, etc.) or ability to obtain

　　Desired Skills:

　　• Experience with installation and maintenance of databases such as Oracle, Postgres, MySQL

　　• This position requires the selected candidate to be able to obtain and hold an active Department of Defense Secret security clearance which requires US citizenship while working in support of a government contract.

　　Physical Demands and Working Conditions:

　　Normal office setting, therefore the noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Work is generally sedentary in nature but may require standing and walking. Use of hands to configure and operate computer equipment. Frequent near vision use for reading and computer use. Frequently moves equipment weighing up to 30 pounds across facility.

　　$68,400.00 - $119,700.00
