Siemens is seeking a talented Manufacturing Engineer with hands-on manufacturing experience. This position will place emphasis on automated and robotic -based systems that support and enhance plant capabilities in a light manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will be a self-starting individual with a strong Mechatronics (electrical/mechanical systems) background with programming experience. The candidate will be a jack-of-all-trades rather than a specialist. The types of projects that will need to be executed are varied and will require an adaptable skillset. The success of a manufacturing plant depends on how well its systems work together and how well data can be acquired. Candidate must be able to understand existing data structures, systems, and interfaces and be able to craft methods to connect systems.

Contribute to plant success through continuous improvement projects.
Create processes and procedures to help the company meet budgetary goals as well as performance quotas.
Establish an effective and efficient work sequence.
Evaluate existing manufacturing processes and workflows to identify areas that could benefit from changes and improvements.
Facility Management
Lean Manufacturing
Manufacturing Execution Systems integration into plant systems & hardware
Process Improvement
Re-Tooling
Robotics
You’ll win us over by having the following qualifications:
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent. Preference in Electrical Engineering, Controls & Automation, or related discipline
2 plus years experience as Operations Support in a manufacturing environment
Networking, Site Support, Outage Recovery, and Root Cause analysis
Generating of Training Documentation
Business Continuity Planning and Enforcement of Information Security Policy
Experience developing and Implementing Key Process Metrics
Project Management
Lab view development/programming
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience running systems through PLC programming, coding, etc...Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States. Applicants will not require employer sponsored work authorization now or in the future for employment in the United States.

• The pay range for this position is $59,430 - $101,880. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
