Position Description

The Configuration Management Specialist will support a US Navy shipbuilding program office in Bath ME by overseeing ship configuration and change incorporation for Navy ships during construction. 　　This position is contingent upon your ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret level clearance post-employment.

　　The successful candidate will be integrated into the Serco Bath ME support team solving technical challenges and overseeing changes to ship systems for US Navy ships under construction.

　　In this role, you will :

　　Designs, develops, and establishes moderately complex configuration and data management documentation based on program requirements.

　　Collects and researches data; utilizing experience to complement data in drawing valid conclusions.

　　Acts as liaison between functional groups.

　　Processes configuration change documents and records information to manage configuration items effectively, including the status of proposed, implemented, and approved changes.

　　Recommends methods of improvement.

　　Participates in the development and maintenance of moderately complex databases.

　　Performs additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.

　　Qualifications

　　To be successful in this role, you will have:

　　A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or similar field with 0-2 years of relevant experience. Additional relevant experience can be considered to offset degree requirements.

　　Must have a DoD Secret security clearance, or be able to obtain an active DoD Secret clearance post-employment.

　　Familiarity with CDRL reviews, change package development and pricing.

　　Expertise with MS Excel, SharePoint, and other office tools

　　Additional desired experience and skills:
