　　The Journeyman Partsman will be responsible for receiving, storage and shipping/distributing parts stored in Company warehouse. Unpacks, sorts, and inspects for damage, and check shipments against bill of lading. Fills orders or requisitions for parts and maintains files and records of items/documents issued/shipped and received.

　　Job Requirements:

　　• Checks materials against vendor’s invoices, customer orders, and similar paper work.

　　• Constructs bills of lading and posts weight and shipping charges.

　　• Reads schedule, customer order, work order, shipping order, or requisition to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed

　　• Conveys materials and items from receiving or production areas to storage or other designated areas

　　• Fills requisitions, work orders, or requests for materials, tools, or other stock items and distributes items to production workers or assembly line

　　• Assembles customer orders from stock and places orders on pallets or shelves, or conveys orders to packing station or shipping department

　　• Marks materials with identifying information

　　• Opens bales, crates, and other containers

　　• Records amounts of materials or items received of distributed

　　• Weighs or counts items for distribution within branch to ensure conformance to company standards

　　• Marks or tags articles as necessary for identification purposes and updates computer inventory files.

　　• Arranges stock parts in specified sequence for assembly by other workers

　　• Uses computer to enter records

　　• Compiles worksheets or tickets from customer specifications

　　• Maintain a clean warehouse

　　• Loads and unloads parts.

　　• Conducts regular and/or spot check inventories of merchandise, supplies, or equipment.

　　• Ensures that there is an adequate supply of materials available. Orders, receives, inspects, and stores equipment, merchandise, commodities, materials, and/or supplies.

　　• Maintains accurate records and logs.

　　• A High School Diploma or equivalent is required

　　Preferred Qualifications:

　　• Minimum 2-5 years warehouse experience

　　• Excellent customer service skills both verbal and written
