  Jira Admin

  The Role

  Mastercard is in the process of migrating our Agile Work Management from Rally to Jira and looking for a strong Jira Admin to lead the transformational efforts and create the next generation Agile work management solution. The JIRA Administrator will be responsible for understanding the current process, identifying gaps, gathering requirements to develop and deliver customized applications/projects to meet the organizational demands.

  All about you

  • Develop and maintain automation workflows in Atlassian JIRA, Confluence, and other Atlassian products including tool administration and customization.

  • Create JIRA projects, queries, and reports.

  • Install and configure plugins and deploy to extend JIRA capabilities, make dashboards for JIRA Connect add-ons, configure custom fields, support JIRA configurations.

  • Design custom JIRA workflow for different issue types to assist in Automation of provisioning, build & deploy servers and applications as well as other continuous integration workflows.

  • Develop JIRA templates, complex JIRA workflows including project workflows, screen schemes, permission scheme and notification schemes in JIRA.

  • Understanding of JIRA APIs and webhooks

  • Maintain, administer, upgrade, and enhance JIRA and integrations with other tools or plugins.

  • Generate documentation on workflows and processes implemented in JIRA to support runbooks

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams across organization, gather requirements to develop, and deliver custom templates, workflows (automation) using Aha! idea portal and other tools.

  Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.

  • Software development experience with experience in supporting JIRA

  • Understanding of Web Technologies (Cloud/Amazon Web Services, Jira, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, Java)

  • Application Deployment - Java, Standalone Custom Apps, COTS Products

  • Configuring, managing, development and testing sandboxes

  • High degree of familiarity with databases and SQL competence

  • Develops and maintains integrations between Aha!, Bitbucket, Confluence and other systems

  • Understand tools ITIL support framework to ensure strong understanding of processes

  • Creates logic flow charts and process diagrams based on client need

  In line with Mastercard's total compensation philosophy and assuming that the job will be performed in the US, the successful candidate will be offered a competitive base salary based on location, experience and other qualifications for the role and may be eligible for an annual bonus or commissions depending on the role.   O'Fallon, Missouri: $137,000 - $213,000 USD
