　　Description

　　Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine(JJIM) is recruiting for a(n) Quality Control Lab Lead, located in Janssen Fuji Site, Japan. In this role, you will be responsible in working with the team to lead the overall QC team at the site! This position will also be part of the Site Leadership Team(SLT) collaborating in delivering the site's overall objectives. In addition, you will work with the Site Quality Lead in delivering Local, Regional and Global Quality requirements working at a site supplying the second largest market collaborating with our diverse and dedicated team

　　Overall responsibility for all QC related activities conducted at site by team. This includes but not limited to sampling, QC testing, management of equipments, stability testing, validation, project management, New Product Launches and audit management of team's scope.

　　Able to follow our EHS rules and procedures and can drive a culture of safety

　　Handles the QC department's budget, human resources, overheads and capital expenditure.

　　We will develop a strategy for hiring and developing team members both in QC and QA anticipating changes in the role meeting the business needs.

　　Anticipates and plans for future requirements in the area, including such aspects as procedural requirements, capital planning, personnel recruitment planning, compliance requirements, and efficiency developments and anticipated changes needed to reflect future demand for services.

　　Liaise between global COEs to implement global projects and initiatives which meets our needs.

　　Participate in talent development, site strategy, EHS activities and resource planning in collaboration with the SLT.

　　Qualifications

　　Education:

　　The candidate must have a strong scientific background with a chemistry, biology, biomedical or pharmacy degree, or a higher (MSc or PhD) degree is an asset. For candidates without a higher degree, 7 year experience in the pharmaceutical industry is required.

　　Experience and Skills:

　　Required:

　　Knowledgeable of global regulatory requirements applicable to biologics and/or pharmaceuticals

　　Understanding of PMDA/MHLW/JP or equivalent industry standards relevant for the QC laboratory.

　　Experience leading and developing diverse talents!

　　Knowledge of different aspects of QC activities such as testing, equipment lifecycle management, data integrity, management of different systems in the lab and analytical method transfer.

　　Being able to liaise with global stakeholders to drive global and platform initiates for the site

　　Preferred:

　　Multicultural experience working with members from different backgrounds.

　　Other:

　　English business level is required. No requirement for Japanese Language.

　　Less than 5% travel requirements

　　Pharmacist license is preferred
