　　Job Description: Janitor

　　• Complete minor repairs and building improvements.

　　• Prepare conference rooms before and after important meetings.

　　• Assist with event and meeting setups and breakdowns

　　• Clean all common room areas including the kitchen, cafeteria, lobby and break room.

　　• When applicable, place safety hazard signs in the building including wet paint and wet

　　floor warning signs.

　　• Monitor, clean and service washroom,

　　• Maintain adequate supply of toiletries for replenishment of soap, hand towels, toilet

　　paper, sanitary products, toilet seat covers. Clean mirrors, wipe down sinks and toilets,

　　and remove dirt, stains, trash.

　　• Common areas are to be continuously policed and picked up throughout the day for

　　removal of all litter, damp mopping spillages, emptying of trash receptacles, and

　　removal of spots and/or graffiti from wall and column surfaces.

　　• Clean interior lobby windows, windowsills and doors.

　　• Provide spot carpet spot cleaning

　　• Respond to any major spills or other cleaning crises.

　　• Remove litter and rubbish from main common rooms.

　　• Help order supplies required for facility maintenance.

　　• Complete assigned “work orders request”, including, but not limited to: moving of

　　office-related furniture, equipment and supplies on an as-needed basis; requests for

　　delivery of extra bottles of water for water coolers during the day; and cleaning the

　　interiors of small office refrigerators and defrost periodically.

　　Shift:

　　Monday - Friday 7:00 am - 4:00 pm
