Job Summary:
This role is critical in driving a great customer experience for our Independent Wholesale Distributors. The successful candidate will join the team of customer service account representatives in effectively providing dedicated, single-point contact for both parts and equipment order management, and order fulfillment to our Trane and American Standard independent wholesale distributors and internal sales teams. The team works in a highly collaborative environment, sharing insights, acting as back-up contact points, and developing effective process strategies and improvements.
Responsibilities:
Customer Focused: Establish and nurture positive relationships with Trane and American Standard contacts, internal sales, logistics and operations team members
Order Management: Expertly manage distributor orders through Oracle, with the ability to identify and resolve order line issues and abnormalities
Follow up: Respond efficiently and effectively to distributor requests for product availability, order status, and shipment expedites
Team Building: Interact well with other fulfillment teams to ensure goals for meeting customer request dates are achieved
Process Improvement: Participate in team metrics gathering, analysis, and Managing for Daily Work (MDI)
Drive Standardization: Proactively work to implement consistency in team-based practices
Support: Provide email and phone support for Trane and American Standard IWDs Equipment and Part Orders
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience required
Minimum 3 years of experience in order management
Must have experience with Oracle R12
Must be able to travel (extremely minimal <1%)
Must be proficient with Microsoft Applications (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint,)
Must be proficient with Oracle R12
Must be a team player and maintain a positive attitude
Must maintain professionalism at all times
Strong communication skills (written, verbal and interpersonal)
Must be self-motivated
Good problem-solving skills
