　　The ITC Czech Export Control Manager is a role responsible of the integration of export control requirements in GE Aviation Czech (GEAC) business operations and potentially support similar needs in other GE Aerospace affiliates.

　　Essential Responsibilities

　　This role will join the Avio Aero International Trade Compliance (ITC) Team and work closely with the Legal, Business, Engineering and Compliance functions to assure that GEAC business operates in full compliance with local applicable laws and regulations in the International Trade Compliance field. The role will act as the main point of contact for ITC questions in GEAC and will interact with the Avio Aero ITC Team as appropriate.

　　The ITC Czech Export Control Manager main responsibilities are:

　　to ensure accurate and timely license application for GEAC military business operations, acting as main ITC focal point towards Czech Licensing Authorityto update procedures and instructions assuring the proper flow-down of export control requirements and of Avio Aero's policies and compliance standardsto assist the Avio Aero ITC Leader in identifying the main areas of Compliance Risk, review and update the ITC Risk Register and maintain it under monitoringto ensure that collaboration tools, database and records satisfy all local export control requirements and compliance standards both for tangible and intangible items,to act as local focal point for ITC due diligence activities, defining proper compliance strategies together with the Avio Aero ITC Teamto act as on-site main contact during internal and external audits, and ensure timely corrective actions implementationto monitor proposed laws and regulations and provide advice to business stakeholders regarding implications and requirements on business strategyto collaborate with ITC GE Aerospace global team and cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement.

　　Requirements:

　　Knowledge of laws and regulations in the export control area (Czech export control Laws and Regulations and/or EUDUL, US ITAR, EAR)Experience in Export Compliance related to defense and security productsFluent in Czech and English, knowledge of Polish or Italian will be considered a plusAbility to perform under pressure and against tight deadlinesDemonstrated ability to analyze and forward thinkingEU work authorization
