  The ITAD (Information Technology Asset disposition) operations team in the WW Returns and Takeback Operations organization, is responsible for designing, implementing, and managing the process of securing data, refurbishing, and recycling devices, reselling and recovery devices of used HP and Non- HP products. We manage our programs and processes on a day-to-day basis to ensure they meet HP’s legal and environmental obligations, quality, cost goals, and the needs of our customers. We are also responsible for developing and driving plans for continuous improvement, re-engineering our network and processes, and selecting the best suppliers and partners in the market to work with.

  We are looking for a Technology Solution Architect supporting the Information Technology Asset Disposition Operations with a track record of designing, developing and implementing technology solutions. The candidate will collaborate with Take Back Business, Renew Solutions, Sales, IT, and other functions/ organizations, and be responsible for delivering business value to customers by architecting effective technology solutions that address the customer’s business problems, needs and opportunities. Have knowledge of architectural frameworks, methodologies, and tools and understand how to apply this knowledge to successfully deliver projects/programs. The ideal candidate would have hands-on solution development, architecture & design and would require a balance of business process and product-centric technical expertise and the ability to navigate complex solutions with multiple platforms, systems, and teams.

  Responsibilities:

  Architect digital transformation solutions of projects and programs. Understand the customer's business problem, need, or opportunity and design a technology solution that appropriately addresses themArchitect and customize reusable solutions of projects or programsCapture and share architectural IP at the project and program levelOversee the implementation and governance of architectures of projects and programsResponsible for project design deliverables like models and diagrams, requirements documentation, project plans, release plans, etc.Develop technically feasible long-term technology strategies and plans for HPWSAssess the business impact of specific technologies/ strategiesIdentify and address technical or operational risksCollaborate with other architects to define, update, and re-imagine touchpoints across the impacted customer journeys to identify and improve various go-to-market processesDefine and drive the end-to-end customer-oriented technical solution architecture for enterprise enablement in partnership with various domain and application architectsPartner with the product managers, go-to-market teams, customer, sales support teams, and solution managers to ensure a robust architectural runway that can support future business requirements throughout the offering lifecycleDefine and guide strategic and transitional architecture solutions aligned to the business outcomes of the various service and product offeringsIdentify and resolve technical pain points across the go-to-market value chains of the key business functions within HPWSIdentify and leverage opportunities for emerging technologies and fundamentally different and efficient solutions of go-to-market capabilitiesCollaborate extensively with Renew business, IT, Sales, and various product teams to define solutions that drive the overall business outcomesProvide technical guidance and support to solution delivery teams throughout the initiative lifecycle around design, platforms, emerging technologies, etc.Ensure standards and best practices are being followed as part of the implementation of the solutionsAssess the technical impact of multiple technologies/strategies

  Independently develops solutions for a project, including managing complex issues, by applying in-depth supply chain and industry knowledge.

  Interprets data received from more junior individual contributors and develops recommendations that optimize performance.

  Leads cross-functional project teams, providing mentoring and guidance.

  Owns strategic supply chain projects from planning through to execution and provides findings resulting from project execution.

  Consults with business leaders on a wide range of supply chain issues.

  Education and Experience Required:

  First level university degree or equivalent experience; advanced university degree preferred.

  Typically 6-10 years of experience in a supply chain function.

  Knowledge and Skills:

  Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.

  Extensive knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and high-level modeling tools.

  Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills; mastery in English and local language.

  Excellent team and project management skills, including project structuring.

  Strong business acumen and technical knowledge across multiple business units, with an understanding of emerging trends.
