We are offering a role for an IT Support Technician in the manufacturing industry, located in Watsonville, California. This role is a contract employment opportunity where you will be primarily responsible for delivering Tier 1 technical support to end-users, managing and navigating the ServiceNow ticketing system, and addressing technical challenges.

Responsibilities:

• Delivering technical support to end-users, ensuring effective resolution of issues.

• Efficiently managing incidents through the ServiceNow ticketing system.

• Assisting in addressing and resolving password-related concerns promptly.

• Conducting comprehensive WiFi troubleshooting to maintain seamless connectivity.

• Diagnosing and resolving hardware and software issues, providing efficient solutions.

• Demonstrating proficiency in troubleshooting Dell computers and Windows operating systems.

• Providing effective solutions for technical issues related to Teams.

• Ensuring the smooth operation of email systems, with a focus on Outlook and Office 365.

Requirements

• A minimum of 1+ years' experience in an IT support role within the manufacturing industry is desired, to ensure familiarity with the specific challenges of our sector.

• Knowledge of Windows OS is essential to ensure the smooth operation of our systems and to assist employees with any technical queries.

• Experience with Active Directory is crucial, as the candidate will be expected to manage and maintain user accounts and permissions.

• The ability to diagnose and fix hardware and software issues for both desktop and laptop computers is required.

• Strong problem-solving skills are necessary to efficiently and effectively identify and resolve IT issues.

• The ability to work as part of a team, as well as independently, is crucial.
