Job Description
Job Summary:
Provide information technology support to internal end users. Support may be given over the phone using remote assistance tools via the IT Help Desk or in person at the user’s workstation.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities may include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Provides IT support encompassing PCs (installation, repair and preventative maintenance), networking, printers, client applications, and phones
Assists in determining suitable software to meet user requirements
Troubleshoots software and hardware failures and identifies network problems when they relate to personal (desktop or laptop) computers
Provides high quality customer advice and assistance to end users
Establishes and maintains system user accounts and security authorizations in accordance with company policy and procedures
Answers phone calls or emails and responds to and resolves each issue within the required service levels
Records support requests in the service desk tool
Assists in the installation, implementation, and upgrades of internal systems. May maintain a tracking system for usage evaluation.
Maintains an inventory of all site IT equipment, hardware, software and supplies
Creates Knowledge Base articles as repetitive issues arise
Provides on call or after hours support as needed
Qualifications:

Education and/or Experience:
Some degree of vocational or technical training and at least 2-4 years of experience in an information technology service & support role; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience working in a fast-paced environment under pressure.
