　　About the job

　　We are looking for a Support Engineer with knowledge of system administration. That person will join a small team that is a part of a bigger, interdisciplinary department and is mainly focused on making sure that the whole company has everything to work smoothly. The team is administering internally used systems. We do have some in-house developed tools as well as well known and commonly used. Also, team is responsible for providing support for the whole company

　　Role & Responsibilities:

　　Maintaining and improving Opera's Global IT employee supporting systems

　　Troubleshooting of complex IT problems

　　Providing support to other employees and preparing documentation

　　Constantly hunting for IT environment improvements and automation opportunities

　　Job Requirements:

　　At least 1 year of relevant IT administration / helpdesk experience

　　Strong, analytical problem solving with customer service skills

　　Basic networking skills

　　Experience in maintaining, improving, and troubleshooting of Linux-based IT environments

　　Familiarity with configuration management tools (Ansible, Puppet) will be an asset

　　Virtualization knowledge will be an asset

　　An Ideal Candidate's Profile:

　　Experience with Jira and Confluence

　　Experience with Prometheus
