Essential Job Functions Overview
Individual will provide IT support for all Lakeview Health Services, Inc. sites. This will include installing, diagnosing, repairing, maintaining, and upgrading hardware and equipment while ensuring optimal workstation performance and providing user assistance. Individual should strive to create a healing environment that respects the perspectives and experiences of the individuals, families, staff, and communities we serve by practicing safe, respectful communication as well as respecting individuals’ boundaries and differences.
Essential Job Functions
Perform the installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and ongoing usability of computers, peripheral equipment, mobile devices and software within established standards and guidelines.
Configure, deploy, and maintain tablets and smartphones.
Provide support to staff members for IT related issues either by phone, remote access or site visits as needed. Escalate issues with vendor as required.
Support information and cyber security measures. Interface with security vendor to escalate incidents.
Maintain records/logs of repairs and issues.
Supports IT Department with special assignments and other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience
AAS degree and two years’ experience or high school diploma or equivalent and a minimum of four years in a help desk/computer repair/IT support role. Valid NYS Driver’s License (as driving is an essential function of this position)
Knowledge:
Knowledgeable in Microsoft Operating Systems – Server 2012 and above, Windows 7 and above, Office 365 applications, various browsers; networking related technologies; knowledge with Android operating system; strong customer service skills; strength in technical problem solving based on expertise and experience
