  Position Summary:

  We are looking for an awesome IT System Administrator for our Pune office in India. The selected individual will own our IT in India. This is an opportunity to be part of a team that's building a platform for engineers like you to manage large private clouds. This role is crucial to the next phase of growth for the company.

  Roles & Responsibilities:

  Passionate for documentation and automation. We have a strong culture of replacing manual processes with repeatable automation

  Broad understanding of and experience with managing corporate network and office setup and network 

  Able to put in place IT best practices like procuring hardware, user provisioning/management and configuration management

  Experience with managing and optimising office infrastructure spending and tracking OKRs or similar metrics.

  Familiarity with configuration and management of Layer 2/Layer 3 physical network infrastructure

  Practical experience in compliance business practices like PCI, SOC2, or ISO 27001 is a must

  Familiarity in network management, DNS management, switch configuration, VLAN, security and best practices, VPN access, QoS, variety of protocols, and internet connectivity, Office WiFi management

  Familiar with Apple HW, setup and management. 

  A positive attitude (“Can do!”) and an ability to work with multiple competing demands on your time

  End-to-end support our Pune office’s users community 

  Familiar with ticketing systems - JIRA, Zendesk, Salesforce, Confluence, etc.).

  Preferred Skills & Qualifications:

  5 to 10 years of experience as an IT support engineer

  Experience with Linux administration (CentOS and Ubuntu preferred)

  Experience with Google Suite of tools, MS Office tools, 

  Comfortable with industry standard practices related to security

  Experience with alerting systems, monitoring tools and performance metric-gathering tools

  Knowledge of OpenStack, KVM, VMware or Docker are desirable
