Summary You will serve as a IT SPECIALIST (PLCYPLN) in the Command & Control and Enterprise Engineering (C2E2) Department, Code 53000 of NAVWARSYSCEN PACIFIC SAN DIEGO CA. Responsibilities You will analyze, develop, update center and department strategic business plans and collaboratively work with other Portfolio Managers to support center portfolio initiatives. You will formulate a business strategy for providing best products, services, and support to customers. You will ensure alignment across portfolio focus areas. You will provide assistance to scientists and engineers by reviewing/improving proposals, performs technical assessments and prioritization of proposals submitted. NO-06: In addition to my experience demonstrating the four competencies above, I have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level GS-13 or pay band NO-05 in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector in providing research, analysis, systems engineering, design, development, acquisition, and/or test and evaluation using innovative methods to ensure state of-the-art defense systems are delivered to Department of Navy (DoN) and Department of Defense (DoD) programs; and developing and implementing policies and program guidance governing the implementation and management of business areas for development, integration, test, and sustainment activities throughout the acquisition life-cycle.
