  Job Description SummaryResponsible for management of assigned IT Projects, ensuring they meet organizational goals and requirements.  Support the successful delivery of IT projects through effective facilitation, monitoring and timely, transparent reporting.  Establish project metrics with the business and IT champions.  Support the attainment of those metrics through effective project resource utilization.  Implement PMO processes and provide training and guidance to project management staff and contractors.  Facilitate the removal of organizational roadblocks and implement change as required to shift the culture towards more effective project management disciplines.

  Job DescriptionManage IT projects to successful conclusion, ensuring project deliverables meet the agreed upon requirements and are completed on schedule, within budget, and with the defined level of qualityCreate project artifacts, such as project plans, metrics, team and stakeholder communications, resource requirements and schedulesEstablish project metrics with the business and IT champions and ensure transparent reporting of progress and issuesDrive corrective action when requiredIdentify and acquire project resourcesManage the work of project-based resources and the day-to-day interactions with suppliersProvide critical feedback to the individual members and/or the team member's manager when necessaryIdentify and highlight risks and issues within the project and escalate appropriatelyBe proactive, by devising effective mitigation and escalation strategies to address risksAdhere to all PMO gate processes and controlsCapture lessons learned for sharing with other projectsEnsure projects are formally closedEnsure consistent utilization of a global PMO tool that provides portfolio, project management and time trackingSupport implementation of the project management methodology, processes and governance toolsSuggest project management related process improvementsAll other duties as assigned

  Required Skills and Education5 years of experience with successful delivery of multiple cross-functional, medium complexity projectsExperience leading projects in multiple technologies and functionsExperience with waterfall and agile SDLC techniquesPMP certification preferred
