Brief Summary of Duties:Follow written procedures to test, remove client data, and factory reset networking gear, appliances, and other data center type equipment.Accurately record all relevant conditional issues, logs, product inventory, and erasure documents into EPC's inventory Management SoftwarePerform testing, diagnostics, sorting, and asset tracking of electronic devices that may be eligible for resale.Run minor diagnostic tests to identify the condition of the IT equipment.Meeting and exceeding daily production goals and quota numbers with a quality focus.Document and report products that deviate from approved procedures to assist correcting and updating procedures.
Skills and/or Education Requirements:Strong technical skills including the ability to effectively utilize technology and the commitment to learning in the technology environment.In depth understanding of diverse computer systems, networking gear, appliances, and other data center type equipment.Must have good data entry skills and be proficient in Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).Basic math skills to count IT equipment accurately and fast.
Experience Required:Experience using computer software such as Outlook, Excel, Word etc.
Experience and/or Education Preferred:Associate degree in information technology or equivalent IT experience.High school diploma or equivalentA+ and Network + CertificationAbility to type 50wpm or faster.
Personal Skills Preferred:Must be outgoing, energetic, and able to prioritize workflow.Ability to work effectively in a team environment and share knowledge with others.Strong problem-solving skills, the ability to think critically, and the ability to make logical decisions.Must be able to meet or exceed production goals and follow procedures.
