As we continue to grow, we’re looking for an IT Intern to join our IT team for spring 2024. The Intern will have an opportunity to gain hands-on experience by working directly with our teams, not for them. The Intern will also spend the spring on an individual project customized to their specific skill set which they’ll present to our Tech Leadership team at the end of the program. Details of the projects and timeline will be laid out by supervisors at the beginning of the program. The Intern will be responsible for fulfilling tasks set out by supervisors from the specific department they’re working in, including but not limited to: • Attend team meetings • Perform research • Provide administrative support to their supervisor and teammates • Work with the support teams to • Create and update Knowledge articles • Assist in triaging incidents • Assist with onboarding new users and equipment • Assist Infrastructure team with • Updating automation and scripts • Research and test new tools and software for modernization efforts • Automate deployments using corporate tools • Help start our CloudOps journey by: • Research and test new tools and software for our cloud first initiative • Help plan and test our migration to the cloud • Security • During the above, help determine where better security measures are needed and assist in researching and testing these tools and processes. Perks: • Competitive pay • College credit (if applicable) Requirements: • A junior or senior pursuing a bachelor’s degree at a college or university majoring in a field closely related to the department they are interning in • Able to commit to a part-time (20 hours per week) work schedule between March 4, 2024 – May 10, 2024. • Self-motivated with a desire to learn from a rapidly growing company • Confident to take initiative and collaborate with teammates • Ability to present ideas effectively, both orally and in writing. • An interest in infrastructure, security, support, and the operational side of technology Our hiring teams are looking for candidates with one and/or more of the following technical skills: • Windows OS Server and desktop OS concepts • Theoretical knowledge of security domains and authentication (Active Directory, RADIUS, LDAP) • Collaboration platform knowledge, i.e Office365 (Teams, Outlook, Office) • Understanding of IT frameworks such as IT Service Management, Agile development, DevOps • Scripting languages such as Python, Terraform, Powershell • Understand of “cloud” concepts • Understanding of CyberSecurity basics and frameworks If the leading edge of media technology is the place you want to be, please contact us today and let’s start the conversation!
